2) Data collection when you visit our website
2.1 If you use our website for information purposes only, i.e. if you do not register or otherwise provide us with information, we only collect the data that your browser transmits to the server (so-called "server log files"). When you visit our website, we collect the following data, which is technically necessary for us to display the website to you:

The processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in improving the stability and functionality of our website. The data is not passed on or used in any other way. However, we reserve the right to check the server log files retrospectively should there be concrete indications of unlawful use.
2.2 For security reasons and to protect the transmission of personal data and other confidential content (e.g. orders or enquiries to the controller), this website uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the character string "https://" and the padlock symbol in your browser's address bar.
3) Hosting & content delivery network
3.1 Shopify
For hosting our website and displaying its content, we use the system of the following provider: Shopify International Limited, Victoria Buildings, 2nd Floor, 1-2 Haddington Road, Dublin 4, D04 XN32, Ireland ("Shopify")
Data is also transferred to: Shopify Inc., 150 Elgin St, Ottawa, ON K2P 1L4, Canada
All data collected on our website is processed on the provider's servers. We have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider which ensures the protection of our website visitors' data and prohibits unauthorised disclosure to third parties.

3.2 Cloudflare
We use a content delivery network of the following provider: Cloudflare Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA
This service enables us to deliver large media files such as graphics, page content or scripts faster via a network of regionally distributed servers. The processing is carried out to safeguard our legitimate interest in improving the stability and functionality of our website pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. We have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider which ensures the protection of our website visitors' data and prohibits unauthorised disclosure to third parties.
For data transfers to the USA, the provider has joined the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which ensures compliance with the European level of data protection on the basis of an adequacy decision of the European Commission.
4) Cookies
To make visiting our website attractive and to enable the use of certain functions, we use cookies, i.e. small text files that are stored on your device. Some of these cookies are automatically deleted when you close your browser (so-called "session cookies"); others remain on your device for longer and allow page settings to be saved (so-called "persistent cookies"). In the latter case, you can find the storage period in the cookie settings overview of your web browser.
Insofar as personal data is also processed by individual cookies used by us, the processing is carried out either in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR for the performance of the contract, in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR where consent has been given, or in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR to safeguard our legitimate interests in the best possible functionality of the website and a customer-friendly and effective design of the page visit.
You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and can decide individually whether to accept them, or exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general.
Please note that if cookies are not accepted, the functionality of our website may be limited.
5) Contacting us
5.1 WhatsApp Business
You can contact us via the messaging service WhatsApp of WhatsApp Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland. For this purpose we use the so-called "business version" of WhatsApp.
If you contact us via WhatsApp in connection with a specific transaction (for example an order you have placed), we store and use the mobile phone number you use on WhatsApp and - if provided - your first and last name in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR to process and answer your request. On the same legal basis, we may ask you via WhatsApp to provide further data (order number, customer number, address or email address) in order to assign your request to a specific transaction.
If you use our WhatsApp contact for general enquiries (for example about our range of services, availability or our website), we store and use the mobile phone number you use on WhatsApp and - if provided - your first and last name in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in providing the requested information efficiently and promptly.
Your data is only ever used to answer your request via WhatsApp. It is not passed on to third parties.
Please note that WhatsApp Business gains access to the address book of the mobile device we use for this purpose and automatically transfers telephone numbers stored in the address book to a server of the parent company Meta Platforms Inc. in the USA. To operate our WhatsApp Business account, we use a mobile device whose address book only contains the WhatsApp contact details of users who have also contacted us via WhatsApp.
This ensures that every person whose WhatsApp contact details are stored in our address book has already consented, when first using the app on their device and accepting the WhatsApp terms of use, to the transfer of their WhatsApp telephone number from the address books of their chat contacts in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. A transfer of data of users who do not use WhatsApp and/or have not contacted us via WhatsApp is therefore excluded.
For the purpose and scope of data collection and the further processing and use of the data by WhatsApp, as well as your related rights and setting options to protect your privacy, please refer to WhatsApp's privacy notice: https://www.whatsapp.com/legal/?eea=1#privacy-policy
We have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider which protects our website visitors' data and prohibits disclosure to third parties.
In the course of the processing described above, data may be transferred to servers of Meta Platforms Inc. in the USA.
For data transfers to the USA, the provider has joined the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which ensures compliance with the European level of data protection on the basis of an adequacy decision of the European Commission.
5.2 When you contact us (e.g. via contact form or email), personal data is processed exclusively for the purpose of handling and answering your request and only to the extent necessary for this.
The legal basis for processing this data is our legitimate interest in answering your request pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. If your enquiry is aimed at concluding a contract, Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR is an additional legal basis for the processing. Your data will be deleted when it can be inferred from the circumstances that the matter in question has been conclusively clarified, provided that no statutory retention obligations stand in the way.
6) Data processing when opening a customer account
In accordance with Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR, personal data will continue to be collected and processed to the extent required in each case if you provide it to us when opening a customer account. You can see which data is required to open an account in the input form of the corresponding form on our website.
You can delete your customer account at any time by sending a message to the controller's address given above. After your customer account has been deleted, your data will be deleted provided that all contracts concluded via it have been fully processed, no statutory retention periods stand in the way and we have no legitimate interest in continuing to store it.
7) Use of customer data for direct marketing
7.1 Subscribing to our email newsletter
If you subscribe to our email newsletter, we will regularly send you information about our offers. The only mandatory information for sending the newsletter is your email address. Providing further data is voluntary and is used to address you personally. For sending the newsletter we use the so-called double opt-in procedure, which ensures that you only receive newsletters once you have expressly confirmed your consent to receiving the newsletter by clicking a verification link sent to the email address you provided.
By activating the confirmation link, you give us your consent to use your personal data in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. In doing so, we store your IP address registered by your internet service provider (ISP) as well as the date and time of registration in order to be able to trace any possible misuse of your email address at a later date. The data collected by us when you subscribe to the newsletter is used strictly for its intended purpose.
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the link provided for this purpose in the newsletter or by sending a corresponding message to the controller named at the beginning. After you have unsubscribed, your email address will be deleted from our newsletter distribution list immediately, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we reserve the right to use data beyond this which is permitted by law and about which we inform you in this policy.
7.2 Sending the email newsletter to existing customers
If you have provided us with your email address when purchasing goods or services, we reserve the right to regularly send you offers for goods or services from our range similar to those already purchased by email. Pursuant to Section 7 (3) of the German Act against Unfair Competition (UWG), we do not need to obtain separate consent from you for this. In this respect, data processing is carried out solely on the basis of our legitimate interest in personalised direct marketing in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. If you initially objected to the use of your email address for this purpose, we will not send you any emails.
You are entitled to object to the use of your email address for the aforementioned advertising purpose at any time with effect for the future by notifying the controller named at the beginning. In this case, you will only incur transmission costs according to the basic rates. Once your objection has been received, the use of your email address for advertising purposes will cease immediately.
8) Data processing for order handling
8.1 Insofar as necessary for the performance of the contract for delivery and payment purposes, the personal data collected by us will be passed on to the commissioned transport company and the commissioned credit institution in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR.
If, on the basis of a corresponding contract, we owe you updates for goods with digital elements or for digital products, we process the contact data you provided when placing your order in order to inform you personally within the scope of our statutory information obligations in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR. Your contact data is used strictly for notifications about updates owed by us and is only processed by us to the extent necessary for the respective information.
8.2 To fulfil our contractual obligations, we may use drop shipping by suppliers. For this purpose, we pass on your name and delivery address exclusively for the purpose of delivering the goods (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR) to a supplier selected by us.
Where delivery of goods that cannot be sent by parcel service (freight forwarding goods, bulky goods, etc.) is owed and a delivery date has to be agreed by telephone in advance, we also pass on your telephone number to the said supplier in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR.
8.3 If we use drop shipping suppliers to fulfil our contractual obligations, we also pass on your email address and/or telephone number to the drop shipping supplier in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR before delivery of the goods for the purpose of arranging a delivery date or announcing the delivery, provided that you have given your express consent to this during the ordering process.
You can revoke your consent to us at any time with effect for the future.
8.4 Disclosure of personal data to shipping service providers
- DHL
We use the following provider as transport service provider: DHL Paket GmbH, Charles-de-Gaulle-Str. 20, 53113 Bonn, Germany
We pass on your email address and/or telephone number to the provider in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR before delivery of the goods for the purpose of arranging a delivery date or announcing the delivery, provided that you have given your express consent to this during the ordering process. Otherwise, for the purpose of delivery, we only pass on the name of the recipient and the delivery address to the provider in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. The data is only passed on insofar as this is necessary for the delivery of the goods. In this case, it is not possible to agree the delivery date with the provider in advance or to announce the delivery.
Consent can be revoked at any time with effect for the future vis-à-vis the controller named above or vis-à-vis the provider.
- FedEx
We use the following provider as transport service provider: FedEx Express Germany GmbH, Langer Kornweg 34 k, 65451 Kelsterbach, Germany
8.5 Use of payment service providers
- Apple Pay
If you choose the payment method "Apple Pay" of Apple Distribution International Ltd., Hollyhill Industrial Estate, Hollyhill, Cork, T23 YK84, Ireland ("Apple"), payment is processed via the "Apple Pay" function of your device running iOS, watchOS or macOS by charging a payment card stored in Apple Pay. Apple Pay uses security features built into the hardware and software of your device to protect your transactions. To authorise a payment, you therefore need to enter a code previously set by you or verify yourself using the "Face ID" or "Touch ID" function of your device.
For the purpose of payment processing, the information you provide during the ordering process, together with information about your order, is passed on to Apple in encrypted form. Apple then encrypts this data with a developer-specific key before it is transmitted to the payment service provider of the payment card stored in Apple Pay to carry out the payment. The encryption ensures that only the website through which the purchase was made can access the payment data. After the payment has been made, Apple sends your device account number and a transaction-specific, dynamic security code to the originating website to confirm the success of the payment.
Insofar as personal data is processed in the transfers described, this is done exclusively for the purpose of payment processing in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR.
Apple reserves the right to collect, store and evaluate certain transaction-specific information for every transaction made via Apple Pay. This includes the date, time and amount of the transaction, the name and location of the merchant and information about the device and payment card used.
In the course of the processing described, data may be transferred to servers of Apple Inc. in the USA. Apple Inc. has joined the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which ensures compliance with the European level of data protection on the basis of an adequacy decision of the European Commission.
Further information on data protection at Apple can be found at the following address:
https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/
- Google Pay
If you choose the payment method "Google Pay" of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google"), payment is processed via the "Google Pay" application of your mobile device running at least Android 4.4 ("KitKat") and equipped with an NFC function, by charging a payment card stored in Google Pay or a payment system verified there (e.g. PayPal). To authorise a payment of more than EUR 25 via Google Pay, you must first unlock your mobile device using the verification method set up (e.g. facial recognition, password, fingerprint or pattern).
For the purpose of payment processing, the information you provide during the ordering process, together with information about your order, is passed on to Google. Google then transmits your payment information stored in Google Pay to the originating website in the form of a one-time transaction number with which a completed payment is verified. This transaction number does not contain any information about the real payment data of the payment methods stored in Google Pay, but is created and transmitted as a numerical token valid only once. For all transactions via Google Pay, Google acts merely as an intermediary for processing the payment. The transaction is carried out exclusively between the user and the originating website by charging the payment method stored in Google Pay.
Insofar as personal data is processed in the transfers described, this is done exclusively for the purpose of payment processing in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR.
Google reserves the right to collect, store and evaluate certain transaction-specific information for every transaction made via Google Pay. This includes the date, time and amount of the transaction, merchant location and description, a description of the goods or services purchased provided by the merchant, photos you have attached to the transaction, the name and email address of the seller and buyer or sender and recipient, the payment method used, your description of the reason for the transaction and, where applicable, the offer associated with the transaction.
According to Google, this processing is carried out exclusively in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR on the basis of the legitimate interest in proper accounting, the verification of transaction data and the optimisation and maintenance of the functionality of the Google Pay service.
Google also reserves the right to combine the processed transaction data with other information collected and stored by Google when using other Google services.
The terms of use of Google Pay can be found here:

- PayPal
One or more online payment methods of the following provider are available on this website: PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg
If you select a payment method of the provider for which you pay in advance, your payment data provided during the ordering process (including name, address, bank and payment card information, currency and transaction number) as well as information about the content of your order will be passed on to the provider in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. In this case, your data is passed on exclusively for the purpose of processing the payment with the provider and only insofar as it is necessary for this.
If you select a payment method for which we provide advance performance, you will also be asked to provide certain personal data (first and last name, street, house number, postcode, city, date of birth, email address, telephone number, where applicable data on an alternative payment method) during the ordering process.
In order to safeguard our legitimate interest in determining your solvency in such cases, this data is forwarded by us to the provider for the purpose of a credit check in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. On the basis of the personal data you have provided and other data (such as shopping cart, invoice amount, order history, payment experience), the provider checks whether the payment option you have selected can be granted with regard to payment and/or bad debt risks.
The credit report may contain probability values (so-called score values). Insofar as score values are included in the result of the credit report, they are based on a scientifically recognised mathematical-statistical procedure. The calculation of the score values includes, among other things but not exclusively, address data.
You can object to this processing of your data at any time by sending a message to us or to the provider. However, the provider may still be entitled to process your personal data if this is necessary for contractual payment processing.
- Shopify Payments

In this case, your data is passed on exclusively for the purpose of processing the payment with the provider and only insofar as it is necessary for this.
- Shop Pay
The payment and checkout function "Shop Pay" of the following provider is available on this website: Shopify International Limited, Victoria Buildings, 2nd Floor, 1-2 Haddington Road, Dublin 4, D04 XN32, Ireland ("Shopify"). Shop Pay allows you to save your email address, telephone number, delivery and billing address and payment information in a Shop account and to reuse them for future orders - including in other online shops that offer Shop Pay - after confirmation via a one-time code. The payment itself is processed via Shopify Payments (see above).
If you use Shop Pay or agree during the ordering process to have your data saved for faster checkout, the data you provide during the ordering process (in particular name, address, email address, telephone number, payment data and information about your order) is transmitted to Shopify and stored in your Shop account. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR insofar as the processing is necessary for payment processing, and otherwise your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, which you can revoke at any time with effect for the future. Shopify is independently responsible for processing in connection with your Shop account; the Shop privacy policy applies and is available at:
https://shop.app/privacy
For data transfers to Canada, an adequate level of data protection is ensured by an adequacy decision of the European Commission.
8.6 Electronic withdrawal function for distance contracts
Consumers who conclude contracts on this website for which there is a statutory right of withdrawal can declare their withdrawal via an electronic withdrawal function in accordance with the applicable withdrawal provisions.
When using the withdrawal function, in addition to information identifying the contract to be withdrawn from, further personal information such as the consumer's first and last name and email address must be provided or confirmed.
This information is collected and transmitted to us in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR and only to the extent necessary for the proper processing of the withdrawal. Also on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR, the personal data provided is used to confirm receipt of the declaration of withdrawal by email. A further legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR. We are legally obliged to provide an electronic withdrawal function for consumer distance contracts subject to payment.
9) Web analytics services
Shopify Analytics
This website uses the web analytics service of the following provider: Shopify International Limited, Victoria Buildings, 2nd Floor, 1-2 Haddington Road, Dublin 4, D04 XN32, Ireland
Data is also transferred to: Shopify Inc., 150 Elgin St, Ottawa, ON K2P 1L4, Canada
Using cookies and/or comparable technologies (tracking pixels, web beacons, algorithms for reading device and browser information), the service collects and stores pseudonymised visitor data, including information about the device used such as the IP address and browser information, in order to evaluate it for statistical analyses of user behaviour on our website and to create pseudonymised usage profiles. Pseudonymisation generally rules out any direct personal reference. The data is not combined with personal data about you collected in other ways.
All of the processing described above, in particular the reading or storing of information on the device used, is only carried out if you have given us your express consent to do so in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future by deactivating this service in the "cookie consent tool" provided on the website.
We have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider which protects our website visitors' data and prohibits disclosure to third parties.
For data transfers to Canada, an adequate level of data protection is ensured by an adequacy decision of the European Commission.
10) Tools and other services
Cookie consent tool
This website uses a so-called "cookie consent tool" to obtain effective user consent for cookies and cookie-based applications that require consent. The "cookie consent tool" is displayed to users when they access the page in the form of an interactive user interface on which consent for certain cookies and/or cookie-based applications can be given by ticking boxes. By using the tool, all cookies/services requiring consent are only loaded if the respective user gives the corresponding consent by ticking the box. This ensures that such cookies are only set on the user's device if consent has been given.
The tool sets technically necessary cookies to store your cookie preferences. As a rule, no personal user data is processed in this process.
If, in individual cases, personal data (such as the IP address) is processed for the purpose of storing, assigning or logging cookie settings, this is done in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in legally compliant, user-specific and user-friendly consent management for cookies and thus in a legally compliant design of our website.
A further legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR. As the controller, we are legally obliged to make the use of technically non-necessary cookies dependent on the respective user's consent.
Where necessary, we have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider which ensures the protection of our website visitors' data and prohibits unauthorised disclosure to third parties.
Further information on the operator and the setting options of the cookie consent tool can be found directly in the corresponding user interface on our website.
Shopify Network Intelligence
Our online shop is provided by Shopify International Limited, Victoria Buildings, 2nd Floor, 1-2 Haddington Road, Dublin 4, D04 XN32, Ireland ("Shopify"). We use the "Shopify Network Intelligence" feature. In this context, personal data of our customers arising from orders and the use of our online shop (such as contact data, order and transaction data and interactions with our shop) is used by Shopify together with other data available to Shopify in order to improve products and services for our shop and to optimise the targeting and personalisation of advertising. Other merchants do not gain access to our customers' data.
The processing is based on our legitimate interest in improving and commercially optimising our online offering pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Insofar as information is stored on or read from your device (e.g. by means of cookies), this only takes place with your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, which you give via the cookie consent tool and can revoke at any time with effect for the future. You can object to the processing of your data in connection with Shopify Network Intelligence at any time by sending a message to the controller named at the beginning.
Data is also transferred to: Shopify Inc., 150 Elgin St, Ottawa, ON K2P 1L4, Canada. For data transfers to Canada, an adequate level of data protection is ensured by an adequacy decision of the European Commission.

IF YOU EXERCISE YOUR RIGHT TO OBJECT, WE WILL STOP PROCESSING THE DATA CONCERNED. HOWEVER, WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CONTINUE PROCESSING IF WE CAN DEMONSTRATE COMPELLING LEGITIMATE GROUNDS FOR THE PROCESSING WHICH OVERRIDE YOUR INTERESTS, FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS, OR IF THE PROCESSING SERVES THE ESTABLISHMENT, EXERCISE OR DEFENCE OF LEGAL CLAIMS.
IF YOUR PERSONAL DATA IS PROCESSED BY US FOR DIRECT MARKETING PURPOSES, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO OBJECT AT ANY TIME TO THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA CONCERNING YOU FOR THE PURPOSE OF SUCH MARKETING. YOU CAN EXERCISE THE OBJECTION AS DESCRIBED ABOVE.
IF YOU EXERCISE YOUR RIGHT TO OBJECT, WE WILL STOP PROCESSING THE DATA CONCERNED FOR DIRECT MARKETING PURPOSES.
12) Duration of storage of personal data
The duration of the storage of personal data is determined by the respective legal basis, the purpose of processing and - if relevant - additionally by the respective statutory retention period (e.g. retention periods under commercial and tax law).
When personal data is processed on the basis of express consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, the data concerned is stored until you revoke your consent.
If there are statutory retention periods for data processed within the framework of legal or quasi-legal obligations on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR, this data will be routinely deleted after the retention periods have expired, provided it is no longer required for the performance or initiation of a contract and/or we have no legitimate interest in continuing to store it.
When personal data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, this data is stored until you exercise your right to object pursuant to Art. 21 (1) GDPR, unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

Unless otherwise stated in the other information in this policy on specific processing situations, stored personal data will otherwise be deleted when it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or otherwise processed.
